Living in The Tower is not easy. It costs an arm and a leg, literally for some.

Rowan was doing fine working in the Cyber Plain of Arren with his dearest friend, Maya. He explored the wilderness hunting mighty beasts. She turned their remains into goods for sale. The gold made their lives in the virtual world comfortable, converted to credits, surviving in The Tower was almost bearable. They dreamed of scouring the digital realms for humanity's lost knowledge, but the journey to becoming Krystal Hunters is a dangerous one. So, they chose to bide their time and enjoy what life had to offer.

However, good things don't last forever. When Maya goes missing, and eviction to one of the terrifying lower levels becomes an imminent threat, Rowan finds himself backed against the proverbial wall. With only a cryptic message for information, he must start from scratch in a new world to track her down, even if it means doing so indebted to the violent gangs that populate both worlds.

Only this time, Rowan has no option but to take a path different from that of a woodsman, one that his younger-self deemed dull and boring.

This has potential to be fairly good. I'm interested to see where it goes.

You got my attention.

This story has the potential to become HUGE (and I mean like top 20) if written right.
