Ever since she became an orphan during the conflict on Mars, Sam knew she wanted to help people.

She didn't, however, anticipate that "helping people" would entail being sent on a mission to protect the most important leaders on humanity on an interstellar mission to meet with the first non-human civilization ever encountered.

Or that the only passenger on the ship that makes her feel uneasy is a maintenance bot . . .

This is (as you can probably tell) my first real public work, so any feedback is encouraged and appreciated. I have much of this story planned out, and if all goes well, it is a tale that will be long in telling.

There will be multiple unique POVs, some of which may never interact with any of the others. Each character is written with a goal all its own, and a specific purpose in building the world / furthering the plot. With this in mind, I would like to point out that the number of tags is indeed quite large, but most will only be found in 1 or 2 of the POVs, and certainly not all. Please also consider that at this time, many tags may not be represented right away, as they are only slated to occur much further down the road.

I like the idea of the book and I think it could turn into a really interesting story. Some things may not make sense at the moment, but I feel like they will be explained later on in the book. If you find the inspiration to do so again, keep writing and I'll be there anxiously awaiting where the travels take us next!
