Jacob Redd was an ordinary guy working a soul crushing salary job when the world went bonkers. Suddenly finding herself as a wolf girl, the newly dubbed Johanna Redd had no idea how life would play out, but she just knew it would be trouble. Trouble, as it turned out, was a murder mystery, an alluring woman, and a whole lot of drinking. Not in that order.

The Kammi Kettu universe was created by QuietValerie. I just have the fun of bringing my mess of a character into the mix.

Gritty Noir Dectective in a superhero setting.

"A Wolf in Penrith", is a story in the Kammiverse set 2 years ahead of the main story. Wolf is a gritty noir style detective story about a Wolfgirl (called Redd) with bad habits, difficulty relying on friends and is an all round disaster lesbian.

The prose is true to the noir style and the character internal dialogue is crude, witty and comedic.

The fight scenes are on point.

Gritty PI steps in to set things straight

Honestly, I think from a narrative perspective this story is better than Kammi Kettu. The premise behind it is just so damn interested, and I can't wait for all the youtuber shenanigans to kick in.

The main character is so fun, and I really enjoy being in her head as she navigates my wild world.

Keep it up derby! <3

I'm always excited when I see an update for A Wolf in Penrith. You always know that regaurdless what's happening it's going to be a good time, and if Redd has things her way, there will be a dose of drunken revelry. Really, what more could you ask for?

But really, the writing in this story always has be laughing and I'm genuinely excited to see a plucky wolf girl chasing down the truth in the Kammiverse.

DRUNK PI PLUS DISASTER LESBIAN EQUAL A GOOD READ

Okay, honestly I am terrible at writing out my thoughts and can't judge style for shit, but here goes nothing.

If you are worried about this being set in the future of Kammiverse, don't be. DerbyGhost skillfully avoids all possible allusions to the plot or events of any of the other stories.

Love seeing our favorite wolf girl stumble through cases, bars, and dates. A great gritty noir detective story set in a world that is anything but, bringing a fresh new look to a good old style, keeping me wanting more.
