Dragon Knight Prophecy

A hero, a dragon, and a love that breaks all bounds.
A fantasy story of a man trying to save his homeland from a terrible war by completing a prophecy nobody fully understands. To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone.
A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union.
If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero.
Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time.
Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice.

First half good, second half bad
The book starts really strongly. The characters grow and change. They feel normal. Somewhere around the 60-70% mark it all goes downhill. The action stops. The chapters become an almost surreal repetition of the same conversation over and over again.
The characters suddenly lose 3/4 of their IQ, and behave like broody teenagers. One can skip some 10 chapters and it would have 0 effect on both the plot and the characters. And then the first book ends. I didn't continue on to the 2nd book as I couldn't bring myself to read about the husks of what were the characters before.
The prose is high quality, language and grammar is good, and the chapters are professionally edited.
A Heart-Warming Romance
Reviewed at: 1-20 The rivers end.
Have you ever wanted to befriend a dragon? Follow the journey of a merciful battle priest and his companions as they race to unite the empire once again. War is marching in. Can they stop it, or will they be forced to watch as the kingdoms turn to rubble?
The story kept my attention glued to the screen for hours at a time, except for the occasional grammatical errors. Although, at times, I thought that characters like Tavis and Ayawa weren't fully fleshed out to their potential. The style of the book reads more like a light novel than a traditional fantasy novel, but that was refreshing for me. Anyone who enjoys a bit of romance with their fantasy should definitely give this book a shot.
Slow burn with too much irrelevant details

Story: The story has an interesting premise, the thing is the story was ostensibly about a soldier who gets a dragon so he can win a war and instead it turns into two individuals traipsing along and building up a relationship instead of, you know, progressing the plot along. Apparently the urgent war that's supposedly going on is getting nowhere based on how slow of a clip this story is progressing.
Style: The chapters are super long, yet at the same time relatively little happens in each chapter, seems to me to be a case of the author being really explicit about every little thing that doesn't really matter and doesn't advance the plot but it all gets written out on the page, making it a slog to get through. Like you don't need that much detail about how the dragon doesn't understand human society, we get it already, this is way too much show not tell.
Grammar: No issues from what I've seen, so full marks on this one.
Character: Pretty good character development from what I've seen, which is better than for most works. However it gets a bit tedious when it's chapter after chapter about a dragon who doesn't understand human society and a human having to explain it to her, that just slows down the story.
Overall, the main problem I have with this story is just that it's so darn slow.
A great read for any age.

Epic fantasy with good story, engaging characters one can feel alive and believable, in a style that kind of reminds me of Roger Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber.
Really, it is THAT good.
And by saying good story... You need to read it to understand. Dragons have their own fascinating history influencing the present. Humans have their own, but they are of different cultures and beliefs. And each story is well paced, full of life, believable and wonderful.
And in this wonderfully imagined world, men and women from different cultures join forces with a reluctant dragon to face the firestorm of an unjust and unequal war threatening to wipe the last advanced human civilization from the face of Earth.
Good characters are good even when they make mistakes and none of them is OP or all-knowing. Villains are motivated and believable. And all of them grow along the story, for better or for worse.
Warning! This story span across 9 books is highly addictive!

INCREDIBLE. READ THIS!

What a beautiful story of adventure, intrigue, (in)justice, and love! You won't regret it.
FYI - author has a few spelling issues (sent vs. scent, your/you're, etc.) that stick out towards the end of the 2nd book. Up to that point, the chapters are really clean and well written/edited.
Good story but SERIOUSLY NEED AN EDITOR
Reviewed at: 1-20 The rivers end.
Great start for the story but this fiction is plague with constant repetition. The author need to review his own work or ask an editor to trim down his ramblings and summaries.
Besides that, it would be an entertaining read but too bad my patience ran out. Hence 2 stars.
make me feel cringe book 8 chapter 12

all conflicts in this story are resolved with the "power of love" or some shameful deus ex machina
all the conflict and fantastic scenarios are the background for a romance story that gets very boring as the story progresses.
everything revolves around the romance in the beginning it is interesting but it starts to irritate when the whole war the prophecy is basically all the rest of the story comes down to the love of the protagonists
Interesting Setting, but ubelievable MC

thought i finally found a nice dragon story that wasn't going on hiatus, but had to drop it as it turns out the MC is a total idiot. Or he is painted one for drama points, but loses on any believability that he actually is a genius.
Gersius is supposedly this tactical genius and a prodigy Knight Commander. He is also a Priest, and regularily communes with his God through prayer. That god sends him feelings of doom and foreboding all along the way, and intensifies that the closer they draw to the target of their journey. What does he do? nothing, because duty? to what? his order? that is worshipping his god? so he doesn't belive in his god's messages?... argh...
had to drop the story there.
if you are a fan of comical villains and artificial drama telegraphed over several chapters, this might be your cup of tea though.
I hate Harem, Love it here tho.

I was afraid of harem tag, it took me a while to muster the courage to start reading it, and... I definitely don't regret any second of it! Yes it's harem, in later parts of the story tho (more like in the middle), as much as I am always avoiding this tag, I'm really amazed how much I actually enjoy it in this one.
Most of the main characters are well developed (it takes more time for some of them tho) and they are really likeable, even if annoying at the beginning.
If I have to mention one thing I'd like to see improved, then that's definitely antagonists, I'd like to see some backstory for them and why did they end up being people they are now, I do really like antagonists with a 'real' purpose and I love to think about it, how would I end up when in their shoes? as of current chapter (somewhere in the middle of book 3) I can only see them being one-dimensional, although I've seen some foreshadowing for a main group done in recent chapters.
Saying so I need to point out that they feel like typical stepping stone for MC to drive the story/drama - I hope it's not like this, I'd really like to see something more, like good/dedicated ppl with a purpose, just making some bad decisions and ending up on the 'wrong' side, paying for that with life if needed.
Still I do really love the story, thanks for entertainment author and keep up a good work.
True fantasy
A beautiful novel, with a world that feels alive. Plus it has a dragon.
Story:
The story is on the realism side of fantasy. You can find magic, magical beings, and monsters, but it's not the everyday business of most people. The world is built enough to feel like it could exist, even though some places are hard to imagine. A lot of time is spent on interactions, but there are some fights that are very impactful without the meaningful grind.
No RPG-like stats. It's a fantasy world without a reincarnated person or something like that.
Characters:
Characters feel and interact believably as people would. There are emotions and hidden agendas moving things along. People struggle, do the wrong thing for the right reason and so on.
Harem side is yet to appear in 26 chapters. There is main par that's solving thing out, taking their time. This is important as both of them have decently established who they are and what they feel.
There is no love at first sight, brainwashed women fawning over MC or cardboard heroines that exist to only make MC looks more cool or awesome. Romance is slow, but it does not appear without a reason.
MC have friends, I know it may sound shocking, but they aren't all females or played for jokes.
Villain side could get a bit more fleshed out instead of painting them black, they should have some deeper reasons why they do their thing.
Style:
I have no complaints, I can hardly asset complexity, but it's been done the right way. It gets its reader into the story. If I care about characters and don't struggle reading paragraphs, it's well done.
Grammar:
Almost perfect. As a person who has English as a second language, I don't see any issue. Maybe some occasional slip-up, but with so many pages out there it's like a drop in a bucket.
I recommend this story, it has a great feeling. The first chapter may have not been the best, but it's important for later. If you stick around longer, you would discover great read.
