She became a dungeon core.

Everything pointed Delta to murdering her way to success. People were just mana farms, right?

No, that was wrong. Delta refused. Then everything became odd.

This review is made with knowledge of chapters 1 to 27.

Style:
The style of this story while simple, is not bad. It is not difficult to understand, nor is it annoying on the eyes. Because of this it gets a solid 3 stars out of 5.

Grammar:
This is where it gets a little bit rough around the edges. While there are quite a few spelling mistakes, the overall thing is acceptable. Stewart doesn't repeat words in paragraphs so they are not monotonous. He has a good amount of variety in his word choice, and sentences. Also, I like the little table thing for Nu (I don't know if I should've put this here or not). Grammar gets a shivering 2.5 stars out of 5.

Story:
The story isn't really that unique; a human has been reincarnated as a dungeon core by a 'divine' being in a new world. But the way it's executed is very nice. The MC isn't murder happy right of the bat, but might turn that way latter on depending on circumstances. However, I doubt that would be the case as there would be no more puns. In the end while it's not an original plot, it is a refreshing way it's being written. The story gets a solid 3 stars out of 5.

Character:
Now it gets to the best part of this novel; its wacky, fun characters. When people say that good characters can make a story better they aren't wrong, and this story has plenty of them. Whenever I read about their interactions, I just start smiling. Everyone in this story is just great so far. Because of this they get a fortified 4 stars out of 5.

Extra Comments:
Now let's get to the map that I so dearly love. Maps aren't something many do for their stories, be they about dungeons or not. So to see that this story has one, even if it just about the dungeon is nice.

Now it's the overall rating of this story, that even though it is a bit rough around the edges (mainly in the grammar department) the story gets 4 fortified stars out of 5.

Good job, Stewart.

Good to see this here - Love it!

I've been watching this story develop for months on Spacebattles, and it just keeps getting better. Varied and interesting characters, an intriguing and colorful world, and foreshadowing of potential plots to be. Honestly one of my favorite dungeon stories right now and a pure pleasure to read.

You start for the dungeon, you stay for the world!

This story is as different from the generic reincarnated as Dungeon(-master) as could be.
You start with the MC reincarnating as a Dungeon and slowly getting to know what that means and how to move forward. But continuing onwards, people outside the dungeon are introduced, their stories, their lives, their characters. And with each chapter, with each character and every pun (XD), the world gets revealed.
The story so far (Ch-95) has developed to a point where you can´t wait for the next chapter, because you simply can´t anticipate what might happen, or what consequences might follow.
I can only recommend reading this Novel! XD

Ready for the Spotlight

Hellooooooooo everyone!

Klemnomaniac here to give you the skinny on one of the highest rated stories on Royal Road!

But before we a-continue, a note: the essence of this review, written by fabulous moi, is done in the spirit of one o' my favourite characters in this divine piece of calligraphic ecstasy.

So with no further ado, darlings, let the performance commence!

--Verse 1: STYLE--

And what would a performance be without style and flair, I ask you sugars? A bore, is the answer.

However, this story thankfully does not suffer from such an issue.

Written in such a way that engages the audience, it leaves you wanting for more, like any good star should.

Easy to read and with constant progression, Mother-dearest, or Delta for her close fans, will leave you wanting an encore of her humourous shenanigans time and time again. FIVE STARS, BABY!

--Verse 2: STORY--

Now, little chickadees, any good song will tell a story but only great songs will let you know what they are as soon as you hear their rhythm.

As soon as you hear about the girl whose a pacifist dungeon, you'll immediately know that it's this story. Driven by a unique and engaging premise set in  a fantastical world, it's no wonder Mother Delta's got her fans here screamin' for more!

--Verse 3: GRAMMAR--

Now, an interlude.

Grammar is good for any structured song; the difference between being a singer and a sinner, though my pipes and looks are all devilishly good, cherubs.

Overall, this story keeps a relatively high level of grammatical combobulation that brings out a masterfully written story. Mistakes are far and few between, probably due to some oversight or bug.

And after all, we know a thing or two about a glitch in the System. wink

--Verse 4: CHARACTER--

Me oh my, if it isn't the Chorus of this here enterprise! A song is only as good as the music, cher. And my, isn't the music good?

An eclectic, zany cast of characters if ever there was one; you could say it gives the story soul. Anywho, my little darlings, if there's one thing you'll find in spades reading through this mish-mash of pure joy-joy goodness, it's the heart imbued by the care and attention to each and everyone person introduced into the setting.

--Outro: CONCLUSION--

Sad to say, my mushroom maniacs, but I must depart but not before I give my final song.

You'll find no story more entertaining, driven by it's universe and endearing to the end than 'There is no Epic Loot here, Only Puns.' I highly recommend it to all who would want to read comedic fantasy. Hell, I'd recommend it even if you didn't. But it would certainly be a mistake to miss out on this wonderfully, absolutely fab-ul-ous piece of literature.

And if you ask who I'm emulatin' for this review?

Well, you'll just have to read the story, honey-dumplings.

A star's gotta have a little mystique, you know?

Overall

So this is a dungeon story, cliche I know; however, this one is different and much better than many others. 5/5

Style

So this story is the common trope of someone turning into a dungeon, but there are twists. This dungeon doesn't suddenly want to murder everyone and their grandmother after becoming a dungeon. The POV changes are done very well and contribute greatly to our knowledge and they go with the story well. Currently feels sort of slice-of-life as of chapter 23 (may be subject to change). Unique and well-done. Did I mention at the end of the chapter there is a map of the dungeon as it appears so far? It is also labeled and very easily understood +.5 stars 4.5/5 Sorry your story is great, author, but I can't justify giving another dungeon story 5 stars for style no matter how good it is. It just isn't original anymore. Keep up the great work with your story though.

Grammar

The grammar is good and there are no major errors. The story flows well and is easily readable. There are no minor errors like missing commas, apostrophes, colons, etc. either that I can remember while writing this review. 6/5 Because most grammar on RRL is crap.

Story

great world-building so far. We are slowly learning more about how dungeons are viewed and treated in this world as well as how they work. Other than that go read the story yourself I can't put much here without being vague or giving spoilers. 5/5

Characters

One of this novels strong points all the characters so far are great. The village nearby the dungeon seems like gathering place of DLC endgame content. Everybody, there is overpowered as hell but has some reason they live out here in the middle of nowhere. So far we have a confirmed dragonslayer, ex-archdruid, holy saint, and other miscellaneous powerhouses. The POV of different "villagers" is done splendidly. The menu has started developing a personality as well as of the latest chapters I have read. Amazing characters that aren't flat at all. Showers Author with gold stars 100/5

Style and humor very reminiscent of early Pratchett work, though still fairly rough around the edges.

Wonderful and lovable cast of chacters, even the main character, though she could maybe cut back a little on the puns (or at least be less on-the-nose about it, calling them out at every turn).

Very good, with potential to be brilliant. 10/10, would visit again.

I read up until the latest chapter at the time and then started considering if I wanted to wait for the next chapter or not. As 3 of them have come out and I havn't read them the decision was simple. The harder part for me is to define why I don't enjoy the series long term.

The biggest problem for me is probably the genre, dungeons just aren't fun for me. The rules are often unclear, they are too powerful and the enviorment doesn't really change all that much.

This one does progression better than most with the setting being in a dangerous spot yet it together with the comedy isn't enough to keep my interest.

Love that there's a map XD
