Meet Threadbare. He is twelve inches tall, full of fluff, and really, really bad at being a hero. Magically animated and discarded by his maker as a failed experiment, he is saved by a little girl. But she's got problems of her own, and he might not be able to help her.

Fortunately for the little golem, he's quick to find allies, learn skills, gain levels, and survive horrible predicaments. Which is good, because his creator has a whole lot of enemies...

This is a truly fun story to read. I find myself looking for the next chapter to drop constantly. The character is unique and the world has room to grow past the first adventure. Please consider reading!

Surprisely a damn good story here. Not some disgusting cop out copy paste reincarnated person bullshit with half of every chapter being dumb stupid boring numbers and retarded skill nonsense. The primary character best of all stays within its means and character of what and who it is. This is among the EXTREME FEW non human protagonist stories out there and most important is not complete shit. Author is doing good so far and seems to have good direction and pacing aside from the later changes could have been brought out a bit later.

Synopis is actually good to btw

I feel like this story deserves a review, I initially overlooked it, then it became the best rated story on Royal road. Now I understand why, the world is immersive, the characters colourful and the plot intruding. Also, I love Zuula

I like my bears cuddly and cute. Not like crazy maniacs and for that reason I'm out.

This is a real gem. The book is well thought out, very well written and to the author i say: Well played, sir!

After 70 chapters i have chosen to review this book, which is not something i do often. This book is VERY well written. The story is coherent and complete. The world- and characterbuilding is done flawlessly and the story has enough silly and tragic to make you laugh and cry with the characters. The characters have depth and personal growth, with individual quirks and personalities.
The world is complex and heartless, and our teddys quest to reunite with his little girl seems impossible at first. Yet with friends and the right attitude, (and ALOT of grindluck!), nothings impossible!

TLDR: Your emotions will be played with as you follow the teddybear who just wanted to be with his little girl. Instead he is sent on a grand quest of impossible proportions, connecting with old friends and new.

Worth every last second.

This story is in one word, a Masterpiece. I have yet to meet another story on RRl, hell, even in general fiction, that can tell such a powerful tale. What starts as a charming tale through the eyes of an animated teddybear, slowly builds into a desperate fight to save the country.

Lost Demiurge is in his element here, with unique characters, outstanding backstories, interesting mythos, powerrful, heart-wrenching moments and nigh-perfect grammar. I only recently picked up this wonderful story, but found myself entranced by it. And coming from me, that's saying A LOT. i reccomend this story to ALL fantasy fans, no matter which genre you like. THIS is a masterpiece, and i can't wait for more.

After the main twist, It got very predictable

Every mini-arc after the main twist was easy to predict and the ending became very painfully obvious by the reunion. Read the first part nof any mini arc and you can know the ending by making very few logical leaps and knowing the story will turn out well.

I predicted almost 90% of the endin by the first chapter of the dwarves except a few minor things, but if you just keep in mind that the story will end well, it becomes all too easy to predict the next plot points even up to the ending.

Somehow by the end it feels like Threadbare is almost a self-insert character just getting with the author's waifu (Though even by the end Cecelia felt bland compared to most of the cast), it made me just feel akward reading through the final chapters because it felt like there was an unneeded flirtation between the two. Most of the (Very little) romance in this book felt natural as if it had been there for years, but this felt completely out of place for the two.

The other meh thing in this book are most the cast of characters feel like if you replace them, the story feel like you could replace them with another character without any real change (Or just take them out entirely). It takes me out of my reading when I stop reading for a few hours (e.g. school or work) and then come back and completly forget who a charcter is and by the wrapping up chapters I had forgotten half the mentioned characters even though I read this in three days.

All in all even though this is a better story than most on the website, it definately does not deserve to be praised as highly as it is.
