The Costa Brava Scenario ( formerly: Space Opera )
by tjtf
Angie’s heart started beating again. After the betrayal, she almost wished it wouldn’t.
Angie had spent 6 years of her life getting ready for this moment, the moment the competition would start, the moment her team would prove they were the best.
Now, instead of supervising the engineering team, she needed to lead a squad of in-game players.
It would be hellish, but she would go through gaming hell to lead her team to victory in the Space Opera VR systems challenge.
The Costa Brava Scenario is a scifi littpg-lite story. Peviously this story was called Space Opera and it now has a new cover too. The title was changed 11/23

Space opera with spunk
I stumbled upon this story by chance. I'm not really into VR and Space themed stories. I'd rather fancy fantasy settings. This story however still managed to lure me in.
Sure. There are a lot of things that can be done better in it. Spelling mistakes are too common to be missed and grammar could be polished. Story jumps in POV hophazardly. Many characters are introduced, while only few get some sunshine. Those can be fixed with a good editor.
Characters that get some action are interesting to say the least. They all have their own quirks and faults and it is shown well. They feel alive, which is why I love to read what they do next. There is even some space for mystery (pun intended).
I urge the author to continue and improve what he can. It would be a shame to leave it unpolished.
