Nate's childhood friend, Mindy, has been obsessed with the occult as long as she can remember. Dubious rituals, demons, spirits... these were always something to get excited about. One day, when Nate lost a bet, Mindy made him participate in one of her rituals. A ritual to open a gate to another dimension.

But... hmm? Why are we suddenly in a forest? W-wait... don't tell me it actually worked?! We transported into a fantasy world?!

Follow the duo in the new world as they discover that this world is NOT what they thought it would be.

Humans? What is that? This world hosts no such thing.

Although there are only 4 chapters out yet, I already love this fiction! Granted, the premise might be a little generic, but it's the execution that counts. And besides good grammar and a well-paced writing style up to this point, the world and characters hold a lot of potential as well.

In the first few chapters, there's already an interesting conflict building up, arisen from multiple unfortunate 'misunderstandings' after our two protagonist arrived in the new world. I look forward to the conclusion of that.

Character motivations and traits are mostly believeable, though that's a little hard to tell from 25 pages and might not stay this way in the future. And what we've already seen of the world is interesting and a good foundation the story can build on and which will hopefully develop into something truly great!

While the story has a lighter tone in the first chapter, it gets a bit darker after that and might even turn tragic later on. Or not, I can't tell yet. I'd be fine with it either way. Overall, I recommend this fiction and am really looking forward to where it will go! laughing
