****Story has been dropped for being too dark****

"Anything that can go wrong, will."

But what if you know what goes wrong in advance?

On Earth, monsters come in human form.

Some are ostracized or locked up, but others walk amongst us. They’re more common than one would think and they grow in number the higher in the hierarchy you go.

With 1 in 100 people preying on the other 99, eventually, a world trying to summon a hero might end up with a monster that doesn't feel like playing along.

The story is my take on some of my favorite genre's and tropes, some of which I have no I idea if they'll work well together.

English is not my main language so if you notice any typos or grammar mistakes please tell me so I can correct them.

Criticism and critique are more than welcome:)

Sadly, it was discontinued.

Reviewed at: END NOTE

I love this novel but also feel triggered. Struggle to find a reason to recommend it when I know it was dropped. Yes, I enjoyed reading it. But that's why the abrupt end was like hitting a wall to me.

After thinking it over I don't know who is to blame. The author stated he doesn't feel safe because of the dark themes in his novel. I understand it and I wish we could live in a society respecting artistic freedom. Where you won't be prosecuted for drawing naked lolis or writing some gritty fictional story with imaginary characters.

I can only recommend thinking about this problem before publishing. Posting with an alt pseudonym, alt account, uploading text from TOR, using encrypted pastebin as a platform, etc. There are many ways to protect your privacy today.

But personally, this particular story doesn't warrant any form of attention from big brother. I saw many stories with rape and other dark stuff here. Some websites already have dark tags like rape or snuff included in their search form. Sure, depends on the country the author is living in.

Just a warning. The author is competent and can write clearly and descriptively. This would be great if I could like or identify with the MC. The MC exhibits sociopathic, violent, and misogynistic behavior as the story progresses. I threw in the towel after chapter 10. Now some folks enjoy the dark side of human nature. But this is too dark for my tastes. That being said the author obviously puts care and skill in crafting the tale. Not completely polished, but many steps above some others. (that I keep reading because I personaly enjoy the characters and story) My subjective taste here.

Real Gritty Characters

If you like Real characters for a change and logical plot then this story is for you!

Although if you can't handle a sociopath as MC it won't be, but that should be the only deterrent to read this nicely written story.

As of chapter 6 this is a great story I can laugh at that has good grammar. So here are 5 stars to atract other people and hopefully increase the chappy release rate.

If this becomes awful I'll come back to change this
