We all have dreams of becoming powerful, becoming the cool mage that rules the world, living as the dashing rogue who can steal a kingdom's entire royal treasury undetected, or perhaps, the valiant knight whose prowess on the battlefield is unmatched by all.
However, when the apocalypse strikes, you can only use what you have at your disposal, be that guns, baseball bats, your fists, or maybe, just maybe, a shovel.
One young man who goes by the name of Darenzo has just had his world altered into one that is now the focal point of some sort of experiment.
Just at the end of his shift at the skip site, a worldwide announcement was made, that not only changed Darenzo's life, but also the lives of all of the Earth's inhabitants.
Can Darenzo survive and thrive in this changed world? Or will his growing madness best him? The answers to these questions can only be revealed with time.
[Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies]

I lovie it, keep up the amazing work!
Lets be honest... I love the shovel as primary weapon and the Mc demented relationship with his golem, it's a fun ride.
Not sure why all the bad ratings but in my opinion this novel continues to be very exciting and I continue to love reading it! Some don't like what th MC chosen in his personal development or town building but the author has a method to the madness and it benefits are shown in the later chapters. Please continue writing as you do have skills and can't wait to read more!
I am going to be honest I went into this story with no expectation of it being good the reviews paint it in a bad light and while not the best I've ever read it was the second story on royal road to actually get me to read all it's current chapters and I will be following the story as more chapters come out and I think that's the best you can hope for a story that keeps you engaged.
I am writing this review at the beginning of book 4. At first, I was skeptical of the book series as it started out, quite frankly, terrible. It has great world-building and an awesome status but unfortunately the terrible characters and decision-making process of the characters sort of ruined that for me. I was however pleasantly surprised towards the end of the 2nd book and the beginning of the 3rd book as the quality of writing increased dramatically over time. The author did a great job of improving his writing by the 3rd book. The main thing that I suggest for him to retain more readers and get better reviews would be to heavily edit the first two books and improve them to the standard of the later books.
As I said in the earlier paragraph the beginning is in deserate need of improvement. The characters are one-dimensional, speech is forced and the decision-making process is unclear. He is also favored for little to no reason that I was able to tell until much later such as his god-ranked skill. being unexplained. Daz is also sort of insane and personally I believe that it would be best to tone down his feelings for Rimmy quite a bit, as those should be something that grows and not something that was haphazaedly created. As you ontinue with the story it gets a lot better and while the MC is a little cringy (My father beat me, I had to raide my sister when I was 6, I have secret powers, ect...) it is overall well-written. The only issues that I have with it right now are some of the decisions that he makes (which while the logic makes sense, I personallly dont like them) and the "peanut gallery" speech. Overall great improvement and I hope to see more of the story as it progresses.
I'm just really enjoying it. Yeah. The story has flaws, a lot, but I'm a sucker for stories like this. Life sucks right now, and this story made it less sucky, so I appreciate that the author hs continued to persevere.
While not the most epic story I read it not one I would call bad. The protagonist at the start of the story seems to have at easy and something of psychopath I think it due to his chaotic neutral affliction. I look forward to new chapter and how the plot develops, and how the story will compare to other Litrpg apocalypse stories
Very Entertaining and well thought out. The main character has development, plus very visable the the emotion an personal growth or change over the course of the story (or what i have read so far). i have enjoyed the reading of this story but my only comlaint is the it has sexual content but the scene(s) does the 'touching each other' then fade to black and next day. like why isnt there a lesser warning like 'Sensual content' or 'Nudity N/A'.
Every review that gives bad characters, is not really reading the chapter till the mc characters developed.
Because it is the way of the system, story, and plot told to the reader.
I mean really, read it
Book 1 is pretty shaky. Daz is almost like a generic arrogant, ruthless, heartless, 0 emotion main character from some edgy asian novel. Slightly hyperbole, but yeah, kind of like that.
Then when you get to book 2 and somehow the author manages to fix all that, while tying the fix into the plot, and giving the story so much more depth and makes it so so so much more interesting.
It's actually insane. It's like a completely new, incredibly talented author picked up the book at the start of book 2.
Five stars for now will redo this if I remember to but I'm pretty sure it's going to stay a five anyways. Yes I think it's going to be that good. Edit: yep knew it was going to stay five stars 😂
