My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid.
Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do.
But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting.
“What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that.
Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too.
Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death.
But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me.
I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars!
All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary.
With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on.
It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush?
I have all the time in the world now.
(Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)

Revieved at chapter 15.
Story looks promising, im looking forward for more. Slow release pace, i'd love to read chapters more often without drop in quality but i guess thats kinda hard for new authors. Cant say much about charakters, need some more chapters to work with. Imo one of the best story here on RRL. Keep it up, dude.
This story is a suprisingly good read for (at this moment) 9 chapters. The grammar is great compared to the standard ''I'm not a native so I can suck at this language'' excuse. the character itself has a backstory that has not been fully revealed yet but has been hinted at. Thus far it isn't a overpowered character at all. quite the contrary, he had so few ''points'' he coulnd't even be overpowered. if you read the prologue then you will already know what I am talking about. I am talking about karma and how it ties togheter in the story. One of the beter things about this story is that it is not prone to cliché plot holes or weird rescues. No harem (atleast not yet) THANK YOU AUTHOR. that is one of the most over done wish fullfilment bullshit done on this website.
TL;DR. Do I recommend reading this? Yes, it is off to a solid start and looks like it can be very interesting! :D
Good luck TheDreamForger, I hope your story will be complete and not just a ''I want to try writing'' phase.
PS, I almost used my real name :O
Good story so far, I would recomend you keep writing!
Good story and all but it looks like the authors been Mia for almost a year now does anyone now series similar to this or illimitable until death there both based on a similiar rogue rpg system so let me know if you fi d one similar plus is there a way to contact the dude to see if someone else can pick this up if he's not going to continue it cause this series has alot going for it.
Really like the idea behind the story and great execution as well!
this is my second novel review and first time giving a 100% or 5/5for a novel. Story really makes u get hook on with a bigger chance of potential being on 1st spot on best novels, creative theme uve done on famous rpg themes where redundant ways how being portrayed by
So all in all a good job
Ps. Still alive bruh??
What a good story. Very realistic keeping the MC from being a fighter-type in his second life. Well, since he seemed kinda like a puss in his first anyway. Lots of growth potential. Slow growth at least. While the synopsis and actual written story do not correlate, I can see that changing if you do continue writing (40 days with no updates at time of review). The last few chapters were mostly side-character or possibly just backstory-filler type chapters, which made me sad. Here's hoping you decide to continue with this project.
Honestly, this is one of those few stories you keep coming back to once they go on hiatus.
Checking.. checking… checking….
Maybe this time, just maybe, there will a new chapter, an update, something, anything…
I really hope the author (TheDreamForger) is ok.
I wish they would come back and continue this epic tale.. please
FYI TheDreamForger was last active over a year ago now. Hope is dwindling.
Turned out to be endless for an entirely different reason. haha. deducting a star for awol author.
The idea of a grand and epic tale is something that an amazing full time author might be able to work, yet this project is not started by an experianced author. The concept is wonderful and has great potental, but because of the scope of the project it really is doomed to be dropped or take many years to complete.
RR has many stories that are greatly ambitious and a few of the authors have actually been able to follow through. In this case the amition is greater than any other epic story that has been successfully told here at RR.
We have the grand idea here where you have the potential of endless reincharnation over and over again, where each lifetime offers some benifits from karma points gained. The first thing that the author should do is to break it up into managable peices or books. Maybe the first book would be about his first extra life or first two. It could even be about the trial period or first ten lives if he wants to skip or skim over a bunch of content.
The way this stands though this project is truely way beyond what an amature part time author can maintain. Not just because of the scope, but also because of how much dedication and insperation it requires. Looking at it at this point as of chapter 17 is has been 27 days sence a release which at the very least means that the author is struggling to write the content, and probably needs a great deal of insperation and assistance. He put out the first 13 chapters in less than a month and released the other 6 chapters in the following month. I suspect the author has already stalled.
